Here we are learning how to handle the shit; the bug shit, the rat shit, the bird shit, the dog shit, the cat shit and skillfully handled by Public Works and a sewer lines, human shit.  I ask all guest to wear shoes in the backyard and to only harvest and eat fruit from the plant.  Having said this, I have managed to create fairly balanced mulch piles for animal shit that eventually is used on shrubbery. So canine feces which MAY contain microbes detrimental to human is picked up and covered as quickly as possible.  However, chicken shit which apparently is benign to mammals is kinda all over the yard these days because of our beloved new to the world chickens!  In general, WASH well anything harvested directly from the soil.

"The Ancients" explain through preserved wisdom and knowledge that at a certain point, a person is able to see the entire spectrum of evolution; thus obtaining a clear view of how food-sustenance, travels through our gut biome and produces, essentially, new food for other Beings.  Dried poop is an excellent source of fuel for fire and wet poop an excellent compost enhancer and contains many different types of lifeforms, viruses and spores.

WAY back, before salt, spice, gold and coin were traded, shit was essentially, gold; especially in places where "domestication" meant survival. A basket of shit along with some seed was a pretty valuable thing and went a long way.

Transforming and revitalizing nutrients such as poop is a vast and complicated matter and a subject for crowded mammals who are most often raised without an understanding of the necessity and flow of life through matter.  Most often the farmer, the laborer,  and the caretaker deal with feces and urine and so have learned how to handle shit like no other peoples.  Way to go..During the end times, i'm hanging with these people.
