Water Issues; Best Practices
Changing Seasons
Changing Years

I've been learning a lot about the location here and learning more and more about when and how to utilize the "city water".  Having a home and stewarding property in this urban center has it's own learning curve.  From knowing next to nothing about inner city irrigation, mood, affect, and culture I could write an entire manual on surviving the abundant spring growth and slow drying into late summer in and around this city.  Because we are near one of the main routes through the center of the city I found it better to "fake it" and provide a longer watering period during the summer to keep a sense of calm and wellbeing near and about the houses and walkways.

While the region is use to a seasonal drying the dust, and heat in such a dense area gets really depressing for people wandering and/or stuck in the middle of this city during the summer heat.  Walking through watered areas helps keep the peace.

I'll be researching and staying in tune with EWEB to establish the whens, wheres, and hows of watering for best results regarding our localized environment in relations to the regions water conditions as we move into the future.

WARNING: Treacherous Territory

Understand Fields, Wetland, Drying Land

These pictures are of the walking fields about town and the rural areas especially when the grass is mowed and covering crevasses or lush and covering depth of water and mud.

During the driest part of the year these clay flats can develop deep crevasses any that can reach two feet deep depth.  Objects are easily hidden.–and animals too.. Although obviously BellaCanineExtraordinary, pictured above,  is a bit more pronounced.
